Abstract

This comprehensive review explores the advancements and efficacy of personalized portable air conditioners (PPACs).
Personalized climate control devices are popular for their energy efficiency and user-centric comfort. This study aims to evaluate the current technology, performance, and user satisfaction of PPACs. Methods include an extensive literature review and analysis of recent studies and market trends. Key findings indicate that PPACs offer significant energy savings and improved thermal comfort compared to traditional HVAC systems. However, challenges such as noise levels and limited cooling capacity remain. The review concludes that while PPACs are a promising solution for personalized cooling needs, further innovations are necessary to enhance their efficiency and usability. Future research should focus on developing quieter, more powerful units with enhanced innovative features to meet consumer demands.
