Development of Road Network Connecting Mandals of East Godavari District using the Concept of Center of Mass

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to propose a road network connecting each and every mandalusing the concept of Center of mass. It consists of five revenue divisions/ Administrative frames of the East Godavari district viz., Kakinada revenue division which includes 10 mandals, Peddapuram Revenue Division which includes 12 mandals, Rampachodavaram Revenue division which includes six mandals, Rajahmundry Revenue Division which includes fifteen mandal and Amalapuram Revenue Division which includes sixteen mandals. “In view of the above details,in this article study was conducted forPedapudimandal using the concept of Centre of mass.Final Position vectors (+ai+bj)are developed for PedapudiMandal”. The proposed road network is developed using the Census data. The Center of mass concept plays a vital role, by using the data the data pertaining to the demographic and socio-economic activities like population, Number of Households, Total main workers, Total area of the village irrigated by source were collected from the records of 1991 census for the study area(East Godavari District).
