Modeling and Simulation of Feed Forward Temperature Controller for Chemical Reactors Heat Exchangers
Main Article Content
Abstract
The heat exchanger (HE) is the most crucial part of any chemical reactor. Using MATLAB to evaluate the computer simulation framework for the HE's temperature compensator used for Stirred tank chemical reactors (STCR) is the study's ultimate objective. The design and validation of the feedback control and its combination to feed forward (FF) temperature compensation for stirred tank chemical reactors is the aim of this study. Simulink model based approach is used for analyzing the temperature control methods performance.. Reducing the impact of rise time and settling time is the primary goal of the PI compensator. It is recommended that the temperature management for the heat exchanger designs be integrated and simulated using MATLAB using soft computing-based analysis and Simulink. The expected results of the step reaction of the temperature controller are shown for HE design. The model functions and their parameters are also validated from step response using the two-point procedure. The temperature control step responses are validated over the settling time of 70 sec for Feedback and FF based controls.
