Enhanced Power Output in Piezoelectric Cantilever Harvesters through Advanced Geometrical and Material Optimization using Vibration Energy for Battery Charging
Main Article Content
Abstract
Energy harvesting from piezoelectric cantilever structures plays a critical role in powering small-scale electronic devices, especially in environments where battery replacement is impractical. This paper presents an in-depth investigation into advanced geometrical modifications and material optimizations aimed at significantly enhancing the power output of piezoelectric cantilever harvesters. By incorporating auxetic structures, utilizing diverse base materials, and exploring innovative geometrical configurations, we achieve a marked improvement in energy conversion efficiency. To determine the effects of various design alterations, the study blends theoretical modeling with experimental validations. The results show that particular material and geometric choices can result in up to an applicable voltage.
