The Difficulties of Using Healthcare Information Systems in Jordan

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the challenges associated with the use of health information systems in private hospitals in Jordan. The study population consisted of workers in private hospitals in Jordan with different jobs and titles. The size of the study sample was (380) respondents who were selected using the soft sample method. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Analysis Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to find out the impact of the challenges associated with health information systems on the degree of workers' use of health information systems in private hospitals in Jordan and to test the study hypotheses, the results showed that the total average of the answers of the study sample on the degree of workers' use of health information systems was high. In the light of the results, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to conduct training courses and workshops for hospital workers to raise the efficiency of their work and their dealings with health information systems.
