The Role of the English Language in Tourism in Jordan

Abstract
Since English is the primary language of communication for tourism and travel agencies in Jordan, its critical to comprehend the importance of the English language to visitors to these locations. This presents a study challenge. The following theories formed the basis of the study: The association between the English language and its function in tourism that is attributable to demographic factors is not statistically significant. The views of tourists and the significance of the English language in tourism do not statistically significantly correlate. The significance of the English language and its contribution to the growth of tourism do not statistically significantly correlate. The research came to the following conclusions: Due to demographic factors, there exist statistically substantial disparities between the English language and its function in tourism. There exist statistically substantial disparities concerning the English language, its function in tourism, and the perspectives of travellers. The English language's function in tourism and its contribution to its growth differ greatly from one another. The study recommended several recommendations, which are: the necessity of conducting English language courses for employees working in tourism companies. Acquiring the necessary skills in English to enter the job market, benefiting from modern technology in teaching the English language.
