Renewable Energy Source Integrated Hybrid Energy Storage System for Electric Vehicle

Abstract

In order to meet the need for charging electric vehicles, this article explored the concept of renewable energy sources such as solar photovoltaic systems (PV systems) coupled with battery storage systems (BSB) and super capacitors. Using MATLAB simulation and findings, this article also focusses on the relationship between RES and HESS and how they work together to charge electric vehicles. Here, we are using a Proportional Integral Controller (PI Controller) to regulate the DC-DC converter's output for both HESS and electric vehicle charging.
