Abstract

When trying to film video in dangerous and crucial conditions, such as burning buildings, locations tainted by radiation or poisonous gasses, or active war zones, humans run a serious risk. A Wi-Fi-enabled surveillance robot with tank-style mobility that can be controlled using a Windows-based GUI (graphical user interface) created in the Visual Studio platform is shown in this study. The robot integrates a real-time video transmission system that streams footage to designated recipients, enhancing situational awareness in dangerous settings. Additionally, a 4-degrees-of-freedom (4-DOF) robotic arm is included, allowing for remote object manipulation, such as picking and placing items. The system employs a modular hardware setup, leveraging microcontroller-based controls, motorized tracks for robust navigation, and a high-definition camera for video capture. The Wi-Fi protocol ensures reliable, long-range communication between the robot and the control station, enabling secure and effective surveillance in critical conditions.
