Enhancing IoT Devices Security with AI: Platform for Proactive Cyberattack Risk Management

Abstract
Despite the adoption of IoT bringing unparalleled convenience, it has exposed significant cybersecurity risks due to a lack of effective OTA (over-the-air) firmware updates, leaving devices vulnerable throughout their lifecycle. To address these risks, we propose CALIAX, "Cyber. AI. Ledger. IPFSAeroPatchX," is a cloud platform that integrates AI-driven analytics, blockchain, IPFS, and DLT technologies to provide secure software upgrades and proactive cybersecurity risk management. CALIAX enhances defense against cyber-attacks and offers reliable OTA firmware updates that protect the integrity of IoT devices. The platform efficiently manages 10,000 requests daily. Initial results demonstrate a 99.6% success rate for general requests and 99.9% for version controller requests, with only five failures. Response times of 30 milliseconds ensure a seamless user experience, and firmware updates achieve a 96% success rate. Despite these successes and challenges, CALIAX emphasizes scalability and security, enhancing the reliability and privacy of smart devices and providing a robust solution for a safer IoT future.
