Abstract

The rapid growth of Tahfiz Al-Quran education in Malaysia has prompted the integration of modern technology to enhance learning outcomes. This study investigates the effectiveness of various modern applications designed to aid Tahfiz Al-Quran students in higher education. The transition to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for digital tools that support self-study and interactive learning methods. This research identifies key applications available on Android and iOS platforms, such as Cinta Quran Memorization Hafiz, Al Quran (Tafsir by Word), Tarteel, and Quran Companion, which offer features like accurate Tajwid rules, multiple translations, and interactive memorization aids. These applications enhance the memorization process by providing users with tools for tracking progress, engaging with diverse recitations, and receiving instant feedback. The findings suggest that the adoption of such technologies can significantly improve students' memorization efficiency and engagement, thus fostering a more effective and enjoyable learning environment. The study concludes that modern applications have the potential to revolutionize Tahfiz Al-Quran education by making it more accessible, interactive, and tailored to individual learning needs.
