Main Article Content
Abstract
The mining industry, particularly coal mining, faces mounting pressures to adopt sustainable practices to mitigate environmental impacts and comply with stringent regulations. This paper examines the influencing factors driving the adoption of green mining technology in coal mines and proposes strategic measures to enhance its implementation. Factors such as regulatory frameworks, technological advancements, stakeholder pressures, resource availability, and economic considerations are analyzed to understand their roles in shaping the adoption of green mining technologies. The paper also discusses key improvement measures, including research and development investments, collaboration initiatives, lifecycle assessments, training programs, and policy support, aimed at accelerating the transition towards sustainable mining practices. By addressing these factors and implementing effective measures, coal mines can achieve operational efficiency while minimizing their environmental footprint.
