Abstract

The design of a college management system (CMS) leveraging collaborative filtering techniques offers a novel approach to enhancing administrative efficiency and student experience within educational institutions. This paper outlines the architecture and functionality of such a system, which harnesses the power of collaborative filtering to provide personalized services and recommendations tailored to individual users. By integrating collaborative filtering algorithms into the CMS framework, the system can analyze user preferences, behaviours, and interactions to generate intelligent recommendations for course selections, extracurricular activities, and campus resources. Additionally, the system facilitates seamless communication and collaboration among students, faculty, and administrators, fostering a more interactive and engaging educational environment. Through the implementation of collaborative filtering techniques, the proposed CMS aims to optimize resource allocation, improve decision-making processes, and ultimately enhance the overall quality of education delivery within the college setting.
