Abstract

Pasca Covid-19 pandemic, tourism in Indonesia revived and began operating after a very severe downturn. With the travel ban lifted and economic conditions starting to improve, the tourism industry is also starting to operate. Public interest in returning to travel has increased significantly after being confined to fear for approximately three years due to the pandemic. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the destination image and the perceived risks on the tourists' behavioral intentions. This study uses a quantitative approach with an online survey applied as a data collection technique. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed among Indonesian tourists of which 277 were analyzed.  The process of data analyses is carried out with the help of Smart PLS4. The research findings show the impact of destination image and perceived risk on the tourists' behavioral intentions. The results of this research can be used as an input for tourism industry players in managing tourist destinations.
