Abstract

Keratitis of the eye is caused by a disorder called corneal ulceration. The cornea is the primary portion of the eye that protects the iris and pupil. Corneal ulcers are a disorder that can be caused by an eye infection or injury. This disease is difficult to detect early due to its complex and silent progression. Deep Convolutional neural networks were used in this study along with many other techniques and approaches for early detection of corneal ulcers. DCNN-based technology works similarly to the human brain. To review the various ML and DL algorithms available for corneal ulcer classification models. Developing a model to predict corneal ulcer types, types, and grades using deep learning (DL) techniques. Test the performance of evaluated by various evaluation metrics and compare with existing methods.
