Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, the application of digital technology in foreign language teaching is becoming increasingly widespread. Driven by the Chinese government’s policies on education digitalization, Japanese majors at Chinese higher education institutions are actively embracing digital technology to drive teaching reform. This paper, taking Zhejiang Yuexiu University (ZYU) as an example, discusses how digital technology can empower teaching reform in Japanese majors, analyzes the attempts and shortcomings of the current digitalization reform of Japanese majors, and proposes specific reform paths in conjunction with China’s national policies and the trend of educational digitalization development.
