Abstract

This paper describes a photovoltaic generator connected to the electrical network through an active parallel power filter in order to improve the quality of energy. The proposed systemcontains an active filter element alimented by a photovoltaic system, with a global method ofperturbe and observe is applied for the search for the maximum power point, associated with avoltage inverter. This three-phase active filter is connected to the network, supplying a dynamicnonlinear load consisting of a diode rectifier bridge associated with a direct current motor. Thesimulation results using Matlab / Simulink environment prove the robustness of the direct drivewhich simultaneously guarantees the compensation of harmonic currents, the correction of thepower factor and the injection of solar power into the electricity grid. Several regimes areapproached depending on the levels of solar photovoltaic power injected. In addition, theadaptability of the active filter is checked against a variation in the dynamic load
