Abstract

This bibliometric analysis reveals the dynamic landscape of Game-Based Learning (GBL) application development by connecting research trends, significant concepts, and influential contributors. The study delves deep into the industry to identify the most frequent phrases that give a picture of GBL’s present and emerging directions. It depicts the deep relationships between studies using bibliometric coupling, exposing networks of interconnected research that create the discipline. The analysis focuses on the top ten most active authors whose work has become the foundation of GBL development, and it follows the flow of information over time, analysing the annual output from diverse sources.
