With the construction industry rapidly evolving, driven by technological advancements and increasing demands for sustainability, there is a pressing need for a workforce equipped with relevant and up-to-date skills. This research evaluates the impact of well-structured OJT programs and robust industry partnerships on students' satisfaction and skill acquisition during their vocational training. Using a qualitative approach and SPSS for analysis, data were collected from 200 students across various vocational colleges in Malaysia. The findings reveal that both OJT management and industry support significantly contribute to the effectiveness of skill development, with positive and significant relationships observed between these factors and the skills learned by students. The study underscores the importance of collaboration between vocational institutions and industry partners to optimize OJT programs, ensuring that they are aligned with current industry practices and effectively prepare students for the challenges of the construction industry.
